thank You!
The 2009 President’s MASKED Scholarship Gala was one of the most well-attended in the six-year history of the event because of your support! Thanks to our very special guests – former NBA great, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and original Dreamgirl, Jennifer Holliday – nearly 600 guests attended the March 7 affair. Honorary Chairs R. James and Cheryl George also helped make the 2009 gala a memorable one. Their generosity during the planning, execution, and culmination of our event is far-reaching and resulted in the University’s most successful gala yet. Thanks to our many sponsors, donors, supporters, and celebrity guests in attendance, Huston-Tillotson raised more than $300,000 for the University. The unending efforts of the gala committee especially played a major role leading up to the evening and on the night of the event. On behalf of our students, faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees, we couldn’t have done it without you!
