20th Annual Select Shot Golf Tournament
It's that time of year again! On Friday, May 9th, at 8:00 a.m., at the Morris Williams Golf Course, the Austin Chapter of the Huston-Tillotson University Alumni Association will host the 20th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament, Shot Gun Start.
Last year, more than 100 players and the largest number of hole sponsors participated! We sincerely thank those who participated. We hope you will organize a team of four, come out and join a team and/or make a donation, provide promotional items, or advertise your business by purchasing a hole.
As you know, it is becoming increasingly important for alumni and the community to provide financial support for historic Black colleges and universities. Huston-Tillotson University is a small, private, liberal arts institution that provides unique and necessary support and services to youth from all over the city, state, United States, as well as a growing number of students from other countries. Alumni believe it is extremely important to maintain this historic institution for future generations. You help us do this by participating in fundraisers that benefit the University. We invite you to join us in this most worthy endeavor to provide funds for scholarships for the athletic department, visit old friends and meet new ones, all while enjoying a day of golf.
Should you wish to play, sponsor other golfers, and/or make a donation, please print and complete the registration form below and return it with your check on or before Friday, May 9, 2008. Please note that the entry fee for golfers does not include the cart rental. Thank you again for your previous support.
